Leslie J. Davis is a poet and writer who lives in Ojai, California with her husband and two teenagers. She has been published in The Washington Post: On Parenting, Mothering Magazine, Lion’s Roar, NoSidebar.com, Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation, The Mindfulness Bell, and The Thinking Person’s Guide to Autism. She is the author of the poetry chapbook, Lucky Pup (Skanky Possum Press), and has an MFA in Poetics from New College of California, San Francisco.
Leslie is an ordained member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing and is the Founder of Dharma Mamas, a community for mindful mothers, where she curates the blog and organizes events. She also works as a marketing consultant and a homeschool mom.
Leslie is currently writing a memoir about healing through mindful parenting.
