Leslie J. Davis is a poet and writer living in Ojai, California. She has been published in The Washington Post: On Parenting, Mothering Magazine, Lion’s Roar, NoSidebar.com, Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation, The Mindfulness Bell, and The Thinking Person’s Guide to Autism. She is the author of the poetry chapbook, Lucky Pup (Skanky Possum Press), and has an MFA in Poetics from New College of California, San Francisco.

Leslie is an ordained member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing and helped found Dharma Mamas, a community for mindful mothers, where she curates the blog and organizes events. She works as a marketing professional and was a homeschool mom for 15 years.
